What sound card are you using Chuck?

well I have a Gig-a-port and it has been fine with VDJ in my old laptop for a couple of years... I bought a new laptop and was testing it out.... so I just wanted the "split" option but that is what happened, it didn't split... does that makes sense?

You can't use Gigaport AG with Windows Vista & Windows 7. Gigaport AG is working on windows 7 by default, but 1xstereo only.
Gigaport HD is a Multidevice souncard and is working multichannel in windows 7 & Vista.

ok that is fine,,, but the split option doesn't use the Gig-a-port just the headphone jack... it splits the signal one channel deck 1 and one channel deck 2... but it doesn't come out that way....

guess no one has an answer for me... is there a phone number I can call for help?

Hi Chuck, I have bought a new laptop yesterday and it has windows 7 64bit and i plugged my gigaport ag in and it works fine. I set config as follows: -
Output - 3 Lines Mixer.Chan 1&2 left deck - Chan 3&4 right deck - Chan 5&6 samples/preview.
Sound card states - 6.1 Speakers (GIGAport AG)

And just for the record I used my Gigaport AG on my other 2 computers (My old laptop that has now died, and my pc which i use as back up which are both running Vista)
