Okay so I just bought a Denon HC-4500 midi and I have an x500 mixer coming soon. In the meantime, I want to hook my midi into my laptop and mess around and control VDJ. How do i do this? I put the usb in and it said it was COMPLETED with linking it to my laptop, yet none of the buttons on my hc4500 are controlling vdj. please help me. thanks!

Switch on 4500
Start VDJ
Go to VDJ config > mappers
Click little box beside mapper name and select rescan for devices
4500 will light up and you're good to go
Also make sure you have the correct Denon Asio driver installed (if you're using Windows), see here:

And if you have VDJ pro you may also want to think about registering your serial number and reaping the fringe benefits (i.e. software updates, skins, add-ons etc.)
