Forgive me if this has been answered before, but is there anyway to make virtual dj autostart as song as the song is dragged and dropped.

I have to CDJ900's working through hid and every time i load a new song I have to press play on the cd players.

Is there anyway around that?

The only way I can think off is to map the "eject" button to load the track and execute play right afterwards... But this won't work if you load tracks with your mouse.

So is there a way to autostart the song as soon as you load it?

With a mouse? no..
With a controller or keyboard.. yes.

I can truthfully say, I have NEVER seen that question before..

I'm curious now..
What are you doing with the CDJ900's where pressing a single button is interfering with your work? is your computer 10 feet from the CDJ's?? LOL ;-)

Lol I used to use timecodes in smart relative mode, so im use to draggin the song over and it just start playing.

Since i switched, I end up pressing my goto_cue map buttons a few times before i realize i have to press play first lol

Wow. Am I the only one would would like a song to start playing as soon as i drag it to one side?

cant be

Why don't you make them a hot cue instead of a goto cue? (to me that sounds like its your actual issue)

I would still have to press play start the song.

I want to drag the song to left or right side and have it start playing on its own.

no, when you use a hot cue.. its goes to the cue and instantly starts playing..

So I take it you don't 'mix' then. As by loading a track and just playing you won;t be able to get 'on beat'. If so, I suggest using the automix feature ;-)

@Gadget

All i do is blend music, just wanna skip a step to do it.

Try using timecodes in relative mode, you'll see what I mean
