Whats up guys, I'm somewhat of a new DJ so naturally new things are coming my way a lot recently. So here is the deal, Ive been asked to play an event for my friend. Its his son's 1 yr old B-day party. He wants me to play for this during the day. At night once the kids are in bed, the drinks come out, and the adults want to play, he wants me to revert to my usual style, sets, etc. Up untill this point I've only played house parties and events for college greeks, and a few bars. I told him I would do it, but I feel im in a little over my head. I mean what do you play at a child's birthday party? Any suggestions would be amazing. I have a little over a week to prepare. Thanks!

Any singer famous from The Disney Channel or Nickelodeon (Miranda Cosgrove, Miley Cyrus type stuff). Taylor Swift, etc. At least that is what is popular with kids around here.

I agree with this!
A lot of kids here like the Billboard 100 songs too, but you have to use your judgment on some of them, and always make sure its the CLEAN version!
