I want to record a mix on virtual dj but everytime i press record i get record error what can i do about this, I have tried putting vista codecs on my laptop still no joy plz help me thnx

Have you got the mp3 encoder installed? You need the lame_enc.dll file, it can be downloaded from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Lame_Encoder.htm , only extract that specific dll file and in the recording setup of VDJ, you need to point to this file/directory so VDJ knows where to find it.
