Okay, i need help bigtime. My hc4500 is connected to my laptop and controls VDJ no problem. I want my crossfader on my x900 mixer and the volume controls to also control VDJ. I DO NOT MIX VIDEO, just audio. How do i do this? I connected the xcontrol and have RCAs going out from hc4500 into lines 4 and 6 on my mixer. What am i missing here? Please help. Thanks

Only the crossfader on the mixer is MIDI capable (When linked to the HC4500.)
However, you do not want or need to map this to the audio crossfader in VirtualDJ because you will then not be able to headphone pre-listen from the mixer.

So, how will I control volumes and gains for my channels which I am controlling via the hc4500 if I cant map them from the mixer?

I figured out the crossfade, but if you look at the x900 mixer, I want the gains and volume knobs to make my music louder when it comes thru my speakers. how would i do this?

Okay scratch everything I just said, last problem:
On my x900 mixer, I have the 2 innermost channels controlling my left and right decks. However, The fader on the left is controlling the volume of the deck on the right, and vice versa. How do I reverse this issue?

You don't need to control them in VirtualDJ - They are REAL hardware volumes, gains and EQ's and will be applied directly to the audio signals on the channels, as they would for CD decks or vinyl.
Simply plug the two outputs of the HC4500 into two channels of the mixer, configure VirtualDJ for external mixer mode (CONFIG -> Sound Setup) and then use the real mixer knobs and sliders to do your mixing.
NOTE: When using an external audio mixer in VirtualDJ, the knobs, sliders, etc. WILL NOT move in VirtualDJ, but you DO NOT need them to. If you need to know where the knobs are, simply look at them on your real hardware mixer!

Also, for the hardware crossfader, you can assign which channel will be on the left side and which will be on the right side using the selection switches of each channel on the mixer.
Set the channel that you wish to be on the left side to A.
Set the channel that you wish to be on the right side to B.
Set all other channels to POST.
