Hey everybody- I'm new to the forums, and DJing in general
I recently purchased VirtualDj and a DJ i/O. I am not using an external mixer just yet, I didn't really feel like dropping the cash for something like that when I am still such an amateur. I hooked the DJIO to my computer and have the settings in VDJ set up like this
- Input : None
- Output(s): Headphone > Master Chan1/2 / headphone Chan3/4
-Soundcard: Numark USB Audio Device
I am pretty sure this is correct. I don't have my setup going to an amp just yet- this is for when I am practicing at home. I have output 1 (master) on the DJIO going to a set of headphones via a RCA-1/4" headphone jack.
I have tried using my cue headphones in both the headphone jack and the output 2 (monitor) on the DJIO.
My problem is, no matter what configuration I use, I am only getting sound through one side of the headphones that I use for both monitoring and the master mix. I can deal with only having the cue playing in one headphone- but will that mean that when I plug a soundsystem into output one that I will only get sound from half of the speakers? any suggestions on how I could change this would be appreciated.
