Topic: Virtual DJ quitting when I click timecode config

Every time I try to have virtual DJ pick up my timecoded vinyls, it just quits. Everything else is working correctly but when I click timecode config and apply it, it just quits. I am using virtual dj 6 on my mac os 10.5.8. Any tricks I can try or any advice? I'm going to have to use different software if I can't get it working. Thanks

well since your trial ran out and you went back to a bad version, I extended your trail another 4 days. See if the latest version of the trial is any better.
 
Sorry to say I have the same problem, I'm running 10.64 full version of VDJ. I have to to to config- sound setup - timecode config "Mode" click the left deck or right (which ever on has frozen) click any of relative then close the the window (the set up window "timecode settings") it all works fine for like 20 minutes to an hour and do it all over again. Mind you this is done during live sessions, the reason I do one deck at a time so no pause or silence while music is playing. Guys or Gals please make this a solid stable program.

well since your trial ran out and you went back to a bad version, I extended your trail another 4 days. See if the latest version of the trial is any better.

I tried it but it still is not working. I have a friend with the full version but it also does the same to him. I like virtual DJ but it is not worth buying if the timecode settings are unreliable. Any other ideas?

You can't say they are unreliable, when its working for myself and a lot of other people. Tell us more about exactly what you have and what you are doing.
 
I'm not the only one that says its unreliable. Just read the other posts above. I'm using Virtual DJ 6.0.1 on a Mac 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, OS 10.5.8. When I click timecode config, it gets slow then just crashes. Virtual DJ shuts down but no other applications do. It happens every time and I have no clue what to do. Everything else works, it just crashes when I try and set up the vinyls.
