Topic: Get mac vdj 6 to play nice with touchOSC?

i really need help mapping Virtual DJ 6.0.1 and TouchOSC. i made my own template, i'm running OSCulator since i am on a mac. when i hit simple MIDI wrapper and hit auto-learn on VDJ 6, i press a button or whatever on my iPhone and it doesn't recognize it. any ideas? can somebody out there help me???

p.s. i don't mean to be rude but please dont reply "i would also like to know how to do this" just keep on looking on this post for any feedback

Cue le doesn't have this option sorry to say. Why not try the trial version instead of the dodgy version you have there.
 
just because i have no license for VDJ doesnt mean i dont have a legit version, sir. my friend has the Hercules RMX and he gave me the Serial. lets not go off topic. i just really need help.

Sorry again but the rmx version you are talking about isn't the one you are using either. Tell you what. Install the trial erase the crack and then we'll talk about you midi problem. Until then I'm sorry I can't help you.
 
alright, well yeah the crack is gone, and 6.1 mac trial is installed, same problem though.
 
I just got this app give me some time to work it out.
 
hey thanks... at least i know i'll get somewhere. sorry about the whole crack fiasco, i'm 40 short from buying VDJ pro, and i had as an emergency thing for a gig i used a crack provided by a friend, seeing as the trial expired the night before, i was in a bit of a rush
 
You should of asked I would of been glad to give you another 4 days. Anyways I'm still working out this problem, Ive already put in a note to development. With any luck, I should have a good answer by the end of the week its a very busy time for Atomix right now as well so thanks for your patience.

Well I have good news and bad news. The bad news is you'll need to wait for VDJ7 in order for it to work properly. The good news is we worked very hard on in it. Hang it there it will be worth it.
 
Good enough for me! thanks Cyder, i WILL be sure to spend 200 (im entitled to a discount) as soon as my $ goes in to the bank! Will going from VDJ 6 to 7 be a free upgrade?
 
Just caught this thread and I'm having a similar problem I'd say...I have touchOSC for the iPad and running virtual DJ pro full and I can't seem to get it up and running at all. Used Pure Data Extended and tried the Osculator trial but neither seemed to help any. I'd appreciate any suggerstions, thanks.
 
Has anyone got OSCulator to work with Virtual DJ? Why is this so hard to find an answer to?!!??!
