Hi,
I have CDJ 1000 with DJM 400 and i would like to record a session on my computer ... i think i need to connect RCA cable on the master output and connect it to the computer(in the input on a microphone)..
But what good program should i use to record ?
Is there also a better way to do it ??
Thanks

the master output 2 to line in on your computer then go to the record tab and chose line in. there are a lot of sound recording programs. just google for it.

+1 on that I use the same software, seem to be offering free "lifetime" upgrades totally Awesome

Lucky you, I have pro and the recording software hasn't worked since I had the LE version. Everything sounds fine while I'm mixing, but the final product bleeds out the sounds in cue. Still waiting for an answer from the support team. I will be an unhappy customer if I have to buy a digital recorder (iKey HDR7 or Tascam DR 07). I'm optimistic the support team can resolve this without forcing me to shell out $140 for a recording solution.
To show I'm not hijacking your thread, I recommend High Criteria's Total Recorder....it records anything that is played on your computer...I mean any sound from any source (ensure you turn off email notification sounds, windows sound alerts, etc....).

@LuckyLucien:
Have you tried to set the "Line-in" as a recording option BOTH on VDJ and Windows recording mixer?
I have found that sometimes you need to check BOTH of them in order to record propertly with VDJ.
