Topic: Virtual Dj+ vestax SPIN HELP PLEASE?

I have searched and searched on how to get the SPIN controller to sync or work with virtual dj. I am running Virtual DJ 6.1 and I heard it became compatible with it in version 6.08 or something? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. The "Djay" software just doesn't cut it.

sorry to bother. But still no luck, I know people have gotten this to work. any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Hello I want to reach out on this topic again, ihave the new VirtualDJ 7 , but i saw a vestax typhoon, AKA dejay for 6.1.2. I tried to load it but all the functionality is not working, as the doesnot change the skin but lays over it. I would like to know if or how does this type of skin get s made. Or who can i ask :-)
 
There is a Typhoon skin, but this is only available to users who purchased the a Typhoon that included VirtualDJ LE (Limited Edition.)

However, the skin has no effect on the functionality of the controller and vice-versa. You can use the Typhoon with any skin of your own choice: http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/skins.html

Make sure that you have the latest v7.0.1 version of VirtualDJ installed: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

If the Typhoon is still not detected and will not work as a MIDI controller to control the decks, please download http://www.virtualdj.com/download/miditrace.exe and run it on a Windows PC (Sorry, there is no Mac verison of this utility) with the Typhoon connected (Without VirtualDJ or any other applications open.) Choose the Typhoon in the two sections to the right and then click SEND. Copy and paste the resulting output into your reply.
