Well, after playing with VDJ and the Hercules Rmx for about 2 weeks now all is working well and I am left with 2 problems..
Below is a Copy/Paste of my Shoutcast DNAS Status page when my stream is up and running.
Server Status: Server is currently up and private.
Stream Status: Stream is up at 128 kbps with 0 of 100 listeners (0 unique)
Listener Peak: 13
Average Listen Time: 10h 02m 41s
Stream Title: *Wolfie*
Content Type: audio/mpeg
Stream Genre: Mixed
Stream URL: http://www.virtualdj.com/
Stream ICQ:
Stream AIM:
Stream IRC:
Current Song: George Thorogood - Bad To The Bone
Question-1... Why is my Server Status: "Up and Private" ?...this only happens with VDJ, when using SAM the status is "Up and Public"
as it should be ! technical Support have said that some providers do not allow a public stream, well as SAM does things no problem, this is not the case this time. Any Ideas ?
Question-2: the Stream URL: is stated as "http://www.virtualdj.com/" while advertising VirtualDJ may be good for Sales, having my Own Website here would be much better for my Listeners. How do I change it ? I cant fins anything in the VDJ Settings, Perhaps I am missing Something ?
