Hello,
I have two issues and wonder if anyone can help me out:
#1: As a policy, the website I Dj for wants Dj’s to use Edcast to broadcast shows and I can't use the VDJ broadcast feature that really works well. I use a Hercules DJ RMX Controller in ASIO and for whatever reasons, the feed using the controller and VDJ doesn't get pushed through on a stream; if I use VDJ alone, it works. I suspect the problem to be with the ASIO sound card which cannot be solicited from 2 different hosts, number one from the controller and none left for broadcasting. How does VDJ do it? Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can configure my set up to work with Edcast. I have VDJ Pro V6.1.2 and running on Win 7.
#2: I suspect the website does not want the artist name/songs pushed on the stream so listeners can see the name of the artist/song on the play window (like iTunes). Is there a way to disable pushing the artist name/song in VDJ?
Thanks for your help!

I still have no luck with my number 1 problem broadcasting on edcast with Asio, I tried several things to no avail including asio4all V2. Edcast does not recognize the RMX.
Now I have another problem after I resolved removing the artist/tittle from going over, I can't connect to the production server with VDJ and Icecast 2 MPEG on lame (i have no issues on the test server)
I read a few posts on port 8000 ensuring it is opened but still can't connect. I'm not sure I've done this right though, i also created firewall rules on both my Norton and windows firewall and opened it up as well on my linksys router... no avail.
The weird thing is after tryiing almost every config settings, I am able to connect when I select OGG Icecast and also adding the mount point /live after the IP address however dead air occur on the production server. The admin told me, he saw me connected however in vorbis format which server will not accept cuz it has to be the lame encoder...
Wonder if you can help me out on this one!
