I always seem to have problems with my playlists. On my desktop I have a folder which holds all my music and then I just select the folder from VDJ. Today I was just editing the folder on my desktop and moving some folders and files around and renaming then when I went back to VDJ to play the playlists, they dont work anymore. Its so frustrating because I have made sets. MY M3U files are all there but just dont work. Why does it keep doing this and how can I permanently save my playlists so that they always play and how do I get these to work again. Thanx. Speng

not sure if its the same but that used to always happen to me when i started.
just remember when you move /change name/or folder type ect alway do it within vdj and save a copy of xml.
as when you make changes just say in folder outside vdj the file name is then different so will not show up the same.
and with all external hds midi controls ect always use the same usb port when installed or added.
i hope this will help somebody as you learn from your mistakes

Hey, Thanx very much for the reply and help. Yes , that helps very much and & I will do this from now on. When You say make changes in VDJ, Do u mean I should just edit any file info from the files in the program itself (ie changing a file name from R&B to R&B 1 from the list on the left in the program) Also by doing this, does it change the file outside the program to ?) I see what you mean now when u say that doing it outside of VDJ can mess the link up.
