Hello friends,
First of all let me say that I love the Atomix team for putting together version 7 for all of us, 4 decks to play with is an amazing accomplishment for our favorite and trusted software.
So I'm all excited to play with 4 decks, then I realize... I only have 2 turntables to play with. After some frustrating attempts at mapping a shift key, I took a break and came back. BAM!!! It hit me. I don't use the arrow keys for selecting tracks and loading, so I mapped them as follows:
UP - deck 1 leftdeck
LOAD_A - deck 3 leftdeck
DOWN - deck 4 rightdeck
LOAD_B - deck 2 rightdeck
Now by pushing the corresponding arrow key I now have full control of whichever deck I choose.
I hope this helps some of you guys for the time being, as the software is way too new to have full mapping plug-ins just yet (although I am positive there are a bunch of you working on them as we speak).
Now spin those beats!

Other options include mapping one key (that exists on both sides) to:
device_side left ? deck 1 leftdeck ? deck 3 leftdeck : deck 1 leftdeck : deck 2 rightdeck ? deck 4 rightdeck : deck 4 rightdeck

SBDJ,
How would the mapping work on that? I'm pretty new to mapping. I'd love to use one button on each deck to switch back and forth. Could you give me an example of the code for let's say the left deck?
Button A - deck 1 leftdeck: deck 3 leftdeck
Is that how it would work?
Thanx in advance
