It seems when recording a mix session the new version is recording the deck playing and the deck I'm cueing. Now had the system set up as follows:
Input: None
Output: External Mixer
Sound: ASIO (Pioneer)
I'm using A DJM 800 Mixer and 2 CDJ 400's.
Now I've read the Audio Set Up Guide Book, but thats not helping either with Advanced Config as I've tried to set it up as this:
Deck 1 - Pioneer ASIO - Output 1&2
Deck 2 - Pioneer ASIO - Output 3&4
Reloop Record - Primary Recording Device - Output 1&2
In this mode the decks become scratchy and recording is horibble.
Any help please.
Thanks Lo

Are you running an output from your Mixer to a Line Input your built-in soundcard?

to record from "line in" in VDJ 7, choose RECORD LOOPBACK in advanced sound config.

hum..
For record loopback you are using line in at your PC right? so it should be INPUT .. not output.. (i think)
Anyways, it might be too many asio devices..
Either try set a higher latency in pioneer asio, OR if possible use non asio (think Pioneer drivers support that)

Yes, it goes from my mixer back into the laptop via the Mic input on the front. Now when i try it as input it says not enough channels. VDJ 6.xx never had an issue with it and had it set as follows;
Input: None
Output: External Mixer
Sound: ASIO
