It's listed as an additional controller so I doubt (at the moment anyway) it will have the capabililties of a controller/ mixer with headphones. (Of course I could be wrong).
 
I have my ipad configured so I can cue from the ipad headphone socket. The remote app sends the cue channel from the inbuilt souncard to the ipad although there can be a slight delay depending on the wifi signal strength. The play channels go to the Denon HC-4500 then on to the club mixer.

This is done using splashtop remote on Windows and is nothing to do with the app being developed by Atomix.

I just cannot wait as i am getting an ipod touch for christmas but
i even have my own iphone app and it only took a few days
and this has now been at least 4 weeks
COME ON APPLE!
 
I don't know for sure, but I suspect iRemote will only work on VDJ Professional, not VDJ Home or LE. Hopefully a teamer will confirm :)

I have vdj home and it does in fact work with it because there
is a tab on vdj home settings so i am pretty sure.
 
yo Cool,

there is also an advanced config button and mappers button, but it doesn't mean you can fully use it... i'm pretty sure it'll have the same behavior as using a controller and give you a 10 minute limit.

I was reading a review from a develeper that apps are slow at the moment (this was yesterday) he said his last app took 10 days for approval and updates are taking a week, so the v-dj i remote has either not being accepted or not yet being submitted, who know's but i kinda wish they would let us know!

Yeah totally agree, I wish someone would step forward with an official response.

Awaiting Apples approval doesnt cut it anymore, we know there must be a problem just come clean please.

FIANLY-Just 1 problem,5.99,get stuffed,way too much,i aint paying that just yet,only because i cant,i have 57p,im glad its finaly accepted but still,A Wee Expensive
 
is anyone else having a problem installing the black sheep skin for iphone.

I have tried on osx and windows 7 and get a error message -7
 
Did you first install 7.0.2 ???

The iRemote application only works with v7.0.2 - the installer is looking for that version to be installed. If not you get the error.

Also make sure that there is a /iPhone/ folder in your Documents/VirtualDJ/Skins/ folder ... if not then create it and then run the skin install again.
