Hello everyone,
I currently have a pair of Technics SL-1200's and another pair of Technics SL-DZ1200. I am trying to get four timecodes running at the same time. I would like to find a soundcard that will support all four. I came across the Native Instruments Audio 8 sound card, but unfortunately it only supports only two timecode signals. I'm looking for a way to connect all four to accompany the new VDJ 7. Is there a solution for my problem? Or am I S.O.L?

I would think that it only supports two timecode signals while using Traktor. I would think you would be fine when running VDJ7.

@DJdAb...I would suggest that you always check the setup yourself before you make any comment. It seems that BlaqCaesar has mistaken Audio 4 for Audio 8. Audio 4 gives you only 2 decks options and comes with Traktor Duo. Audio 8 is highly recommended for Traktor Scratch Pro. That's why it comes with the software as a bundle and provide full 4 decks capabilities. I've been using a pair of Denon HS5500 for almost 2 years now using timecode since each player provides me 2 stereo outputs. I switched from turntables to CDJs because I move around a lot in the military. Basically that's the same configuration for 4 turntables.
@BlaqCaesar... There's no problem at all buying an Audio 8 to be able to use 4 timecode inputs for Virtual DJ 7. I am currently using the combination of Denon HS5500 with Audio 8 for full 4 decks with timecode and Numark V7 with Audio 8 for full 4 decks without timecode.
The only difference between the 2 setups is the fact that I have to manually select the deck using the computer mouse when using Numark V7. Once I click the deck number and make it lit the controller automatically reflects that specific deck status. Remember that the controllers are automatically assigned to deck 1 and 2. For example if I'm playing a song on deck 1 and wish to mix another song on deck 3 I just point the mouse to deck 3 and click and I instantly notice that the controller stop running waiting for me to hit play to start the song on deck 3 while deck 1 is still running though. I make it easy for me by assigning keyboard shortcuts for quick access. I can always switch back and forth between any deck using the same method. In timecode mode you shouldn't have that problem.
