You can do more with the 3700's. Use it to play Cd's, Play form The Thumb drive, Cionnect it thru the usb port for native control. The V7 has a slightly Tighter scratch but the 3700's are good Too. The V7 can only be used with software that supports it native.

they reallly are two different machines if you are looking for a cd player get the denons but if you are like me and dont want to be lifting cds with you all the time then get the V7s i just ordered mine and i cant wait for them along with the dnx 1600 mixer... :) oh and the V7s are lighter

Hmm..........not what I wanted to hear but I guess it comes with the territory. Man I wish I didn't live in such a small town. Our main music shop doesn't even have a pair of cdjs on display let alone the Denons or the V7's to test out, lmao!!! Anyone else care to chime in?

The V7 looks cool but why buy it. Its limited. Lighter ?.... what, maybe like 3 pounds lighter. The 3700 is a media Player. Its not just Cds. You can connect a thumb drive, Plus a USB cables to laptop for native control. If someone has a CD to give you, You can also play that too. The V7 is 1/3 of a NS7. Just the deck with no mixer and only one option to play. Just a usb connection to your laptop and thats it. No other options after that.

Let's stay on topic. You will get a better response if you start your own thread.

that's a touch decision.
I like them both.
strictly as a scratch deck-V7, that is if you like that kinda over-agressive movement, ultra-sensitive thing they do.
over-all deck,denon.
so it comes down to how you play to use them.

The V7 has a tighter scratch than the Denon 3700.

The V7 is crazy cheap atm.... I think its a no brainer. $399 after the $200 rebate + a roadcase.

I have a pair of V'7s. Played around with the Denon's at the store and I noticed the platter/vinyl was wobbly. I bought the V'7s and never looked back. Absolutely no problems with VDJ 7.
