I haven't DJed for a few years (maybe 2-3), and have got a new laptop (win 7, 64bit, i7) and installed the new, much improved VDJ.
I seem to be having a problem.
My Numark Total Control works on its own, but as soon as I plug in my Maya 44 USB to use TCV the NTC freezes up and is totally unresponsive.
Also if I have the Maya 44 plugged in first, windows does not recognise the NTC at all when plugged in.
I am assuming this is probably an IRQ conflict or something similar, but am a little confused to why this might be happening, as it was never a problem in the past.
Has anyone else had this same issue?
Is there anything I can do to resolve this, or what would be the cheapest way for me to provide me with the same options (TCV + Controller).
Thanks

First, I would start by always connecting the NTC and Maya44 to the same (respective) usb ports. For example, NTC is always connected to the top left hand usb port. Maya44 is always connected to bottom right hand usb port.
See what I mean?
Second, If you know you will be going to be working with Virtual DJ, always have your devices connected before booting up.
If you are still having problems, make sure you haven't disabled any USB ports or USB root hubs in your PC's Device Manager. That should take care of any IRQ conflicts.
