I own a Denon HD2500 and a Hercules MK2, I was wondering if i can make them both work and control virtual dj's four decks.

Yes, you can.
By default, one should be assigned automatically to 1 & 2 and the other to 3 & 4.
You can change the assignments in CONFIG -> Mappers (Click on the button to the right of the drop-down list.)

I've tested the Mixtrack Pro and Herc MK2 together, very nice. Lots of possibilities.
Hope to experiment some more once more 4 deck skins are created in my prefered resolution.
