Hi I have a quick question I have someone can answer for me. I wanted to know if you can make Waitlists in VDJ that will stay there and not have to be remade everytime you use the program. I want to make a waitlist for like dinner music or coctail music. I am currently using PCDJ Red VRM and it is very user friendly and I downloaded VDJ and could not figure out how to make static waitlists. Thanks for the help!

There are limited options in the free home version. In the Pro version you have have many many play/waitlists you can make among so many other features that in my opinion are just mind blowing!! No other DJ program Compares to this one!

DJ Kris,

The question I have for you is I wonder what the difference between a Playlist (aka WinAmp, iTunes playlist) and a Waitlist. This could help us give you a more specific answer.

Peace,
James

As one who moved over from that other company to VDJ I found that the playlist works way better. 1st of all you can make the playlist in any program (media monkey, iTunes or VDJ) and simply save it to your playlist folder. Once it is there you can add and delete songs then save it with the same name and it is updated. It uses the standard m3u file. Several other pluses I found include using the DJ Intelligence submit playlist feature. Since I have my own database online when a client submits there playlist I get an m3u file and the clients playlist is ready to go in a few clicks of the mouse.
