I have version 6 and the free version 7 installed. I prefer the smooth pitch slider of 6 but like the tag fields of 7.
Anyhow, sometimes when I play using my Dell Lattitude E6510, the sound starts low for a few seconds, then comes on up and stays there. It will do it in both versions, using the internal sound card or a USB sound card. This laptop has been tweaked using Black Viper's Windows 7 PRO list. I don't feel it's the laptop, but something with the software.
Any suggestions? Anyone else seen/heard this?

I think I found the problem. Seems it's a bad cable.
