Topic: Hercules +VDJ/LE = distortion/skipping problems :( Please help!!!

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

I just recently purchased a Hercules RMX DJ console. It came with Virtual DJ LE. I'm trying to run it on a laptop with 1.3 GHz capacity (yeah I know, not that powerful, but it should be enough) and 3 gigs of RAM (windows 7, 32bit). It's the best I have currently and will have for a while...

When I load a new track into the other channel, the one that is currently playing starts slowing down/skipping/doing weird distortion sounds. It's completely unacceptable, and means I cannot DJ any events with my new equipment. I was really excited to use it and now I do not know what to do. Can you please give me some advice? I'll upgrade my VDJ software if it works, but if my computer can't handle LE then how will it handle Home or even PRO???

I am really frustrated, and need to get this fixed by the Ohio State - Michigan game. Go Bucks!

1.3Ghz is slow, however you should be OK for playing audio files only.

You most likely have other performance issues with your computer and/or configuration - Please see:

Also, please ensure that you have the latest DJ Console Edition of VirtualDJ installed. Register your DJ Console Edition serial number http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then go to http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html to download.

Please also upgrade your DJ Console drivers and firmware to the latest version.
