Topic: Issue with CDJ-850 and VDJ 6.12 [answered]

I have a customer that purchased the new Pioneer CDJ850s and I got them set up and they work fine, EXCEPT the right player only scratches in one direction. The left player scratches normally. I've eliminated the players being the issue...because when I hit the eject button to switch the players, the problem moves to the other player. So its something with the #2 deck.

Any ideas??

CORRECTION: its VDJ 6.12, sorry.

scratches in one direction? Do you mean that you dont have sound when you back scratch?
Check the smartscratch option for the right deck. Maybe its on.

Check this on the VirtualDJ Default skin. Chose the Scratch middle panel. You will find 2 lockers with SMARTSCRATCH indicator. Make sure they are both off
 
Yup...that got it.

I dont use the scratch skin so I didnt even know that was there. LOL!
