Hi!
Just wondering: Does anybody know, what the AUTO setting of the latency setting in VDJ actually does? I mean, of course, it adjusts the buffer size, but the question is: based on what information?
Also, why is this automatic adjustment considered to be problematic with timecode control? (at least the tooltip hints at this).
bye, M

Auto latency should be used where you have external control of the Asio driver, for example the Denon Asio control panel. There is an explanation of this in the manual.

Interesting. Does this actually mean, that the buffer size that is controlled in the VDJ Performance Tab is the ASIO Cards Buffer size??? Actually I would expect these two to be different entities.
I thought the architecture is something like this:
VDJ Audio Renderer --> VDJ Buffer (Perf. Tab) --> ASIO Buffer (ASIO Control Panel) ---> Audio Output
Either way, it still leaves the question, why AUTO is not a good setting for TimeCode. Why especially for timecodes....
