If a click on a folder and click on scan for BPMs, is it going to re-scan files that already have been analyzed?

Yes - try it that way:
create a Filter Folder with the Filter isscanned=0 there you will see all unscanned files in your DB.

But in order for that folder to work you have to right click on your music folder and click "add to search database".That's what I have to do ever time. The filter folders are not monitored I thought??? Someone care to chime in.

Filtered folder will monitor for that field to populate all that match 0, then you could just BPM all contained in the folder one shot, also you could do this for missing covers, Genre and so on, it's a time saver...

Mine doesn't monitor though I also have to right click on my music folder and click add to search database. I think I need to make a video to prove myself here cause it doesn't work.
