I am interested in purchasing the VDJ basic, however i noticed that it didnt come with midi support. My question is does that mean that it doesn't support midi controllers at all or just that if you have a question it goes unanswered. Thanks in advance for your responses.

VDJ Basic is keyboard/mouse only.
i guess my confusion then would be, as i downloaded the home version to test the software (i currently use m audio torq, but they dont allow for midi controlling of the wave length with jog wheels from 3rd party providers, hence my interest in VDJ) it worked with my numark mixtrack midi controller. why would the "home" then support that feature but the "basic" wouldnt?

with the home version (free) you can use controllers only for 10 minutes, with the pro basic, you can`t use controllers, for you case is necesary the pro version (recomended)

Yes, it would be nice if there was an in between version that had controller support without going to the Full version.

I may be corrected, but the only versions that I know of that have MIDI support that aren't the PRO version are the "Console" editions that come with various MIDI controllers - such as DJ Steel, RMX, etc.
This may have changed since the release of version 7.
