HI Dj Dad,

I have set up my config as the diagram shows, which midilog line should i connect the rca booth output too?

I noticed as well the my sound is now distorted.

You should conect the booth with Midilog1 Line Input. All midilogs are set to USB.

Distortion? When you record, or just with that setup?
 
I have the same problem. When I use the record loopback option at the advnaced config, my sound becomes disorted,scratschy.. Is there a way i can solve this?
 
I'm trying to record an mp3 or a CD of some of my mixes, but (and I know this sounds amateur) I can't seem to get it right. I followed the advanced config noted in the above message, but perhaps I do not have the proper cables, etc. I really don't know and if someone could walk me through all the specifics as if talking to a day-one beginner w/ the VMS4, and dj'ing itself, that would be fantastic. Thanks!
