Maybe I missed it but are these "Touch Sensitive" Platters??

Great Deal!!
Huey

I believe so, and also they are the same components used in the MC6000...

Thanks Roy.
Yep, same solid touch sensitive jog wheels as the MC6000.

Nice!! Next question, when using 2 units (controlling 4 decks) can these be linked up with 1 usb cable or do you have to have each unit on their own seprate usb port? Hope that makes sense.

I'm asking cause these were actually on my list of controllers to check out and there priced right.

Thanks for the time and info fellas

Each requires a USB cable to your computer or Hub.

tried these out the other day, i like the concept, however that fader is way too close to the platter, and the platter is more like a big knob...
would have bought them if the overall size was bigger and if the platter was a few inches bigger in diameter...

I have a pair of these and think they are great, also an MC6000 on the way next week with any luck (please Denon)

Denon have made some great new products now, I've had the HC4500 since they first arrived and now its time for a change.
These don not need to be bigger than they are, they do the job just fine. Buy some and you will see.

Could you put a couple of these either side of a 6000 so that you have four deck?

From all the videos I've watched the jogs do seem tiny like every other controller coming out now and days but for the price I think ill try em out.
Please no more TINY controllers, please, please, please!! Atleast 7inch jogs...............

Thanks, its important to hear your opinion.
There will always be a mix of people with different needs, features and size requirements.
Its up to us to build a rounded line-up of gear to address these needs as there is no one perfect product for all.

Although the SC2000 is designed to be small, compact, portable and rock solid, tons of people are looking for just that.

The MC6000 is already a 4-Deck Controller.
If you added 2 SC2000's to the MC and mapped to work that way, it would be an 8-Deck controller, wow!

I still think I will use the HC-4500 in the club, but the MC-6000 will be perfect for gigs in the restaurant as a combined mixer and controller.

Now this kind of modular approach is more like it... now if the 6000 had a usb hub in it to allow you add additional 2000's to be connected without tying up ports on the lappy I'd be happy...

This is a solid controller. I was testing it out in store. The pitch control fader is awesome. When you slide it to 0% it sorta clicks into place so you know exactly where it is. Very clever.

Looking forward to the mc6000! Maybe denon should have paid Ean Golden to do some of their promo!

For some unknown reason, Ean does not write about or recognize any of the many Denon DJ controllers.

We've experienced the same thing with software reviews Silvio, its a shame it can't be unbiased and accurate.
Not till public demand spoke did things really take off.
