Hi I have VDJ home edition and it is useing far too much of my prosesser

This is how my system is configered

2.2 ghz core2duo intel E4500
2gb ram
500GB hdd partitioned in to 2 ,(270GB C:\), (195GB, f:\)
my music collection in on partition F
VDJ in installed on partition C

I'm running windows 7 btw
I know I'm only a free user but i will be upgradeing to broadcaster edition.
When i get a net radio gig.

Any help would be fantastic........Thanks in advance

Anyone help with this

Resizing or maximising the skin on some systems can cause this issue, especially if you have have selected CONFIG -> Performances -> Quality resizing

Either use the skin at its correct size, or select Fast resizing.

You can do this. I read this on these forums. You go into 'msconfig', go to 'boot' then 'advanced options'. Click on number of processors and change it to 2. Then reboot.

I did this and my PC went faster straight away.

Thanks for reply guys,
None of those sugestions worked tho,
I went into task mgr and it is defanitly VDJ taking up the prosesser...
That can't be right can it? On a core 2 duo 2.2ghz?
Anyway I'm gonna try moving my tunes to another hdd see if that's any better
I'll be back

I'd be interested in this. Is the interference a crackling sound that comes and goes, and that happens slightly when you load a track?

I haved that problem and nobody seems to know the answer.

From my experience it happens when I have my settings jacked way up. Like the latency on my soundcard and in VDJ. Maybe turn them down until it goes away........

Just my thoughts
Huey
