Hi Folks,
A fairly basic query, so apologies if this seems trivial.
In VDJ 7 I have music arranged in various folders, some of which are virtual.
Within all the folders you can obviously arrange music alphabetically by artist, by track, bpm etc.
Can you arrange your tracks manually without clicking on one of the specific field columns?
For example, if I know the tracks I want to play in a set and the order I want to play them, how can I simply arrange the tracks in the folder myself?
Say I wanted to stated with Eddie Amador and then follow this with Avicci?
Impossible to do alphabetically or by other means, so I need to do it manually?
Appreciate your help folks
Best Regards
Simon.

A good way is to use the comment field. Show the comment field in the browser.
For example in the comment field on the first tune you write 01 and in the second tune you want to have in your set write 02 in the comment field. And now you can sort it that way in the browser.
This is how i would do it.

And if you are having more than 100 songs in your set make shure you mark them as 001 and 002 and so on. Otherwise VDJ will sort it like this:
1
10
100
2
20
3
30
And so on
Instead of
01
02
03
and so on
1
10
100
2
20
3
30
And so on
Instead of
01
02
03
and so on

i would think the easiest way is to make a play list and save it. you do not have to play it on auto mix ,you can drag tracks from it to the deck.and mix as you wish, that's what i would do
