i\'m not using 7.0 so there is no option for that. but here is a shot with 7.0 to exclude that idea too

I noticed you have the wrong setup. I'm not a TC expert but you can check my blog ( http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/djdad/blogs/4316/VMS4_Setup_Guide.html ) for the propper setup. Note that, in order to play Timecodes you need to set your VMS4 to 4out-4in mode, that means that you have only Output 1,2,3,4 not 5,6,..etc

it is in 4 in 4 out mode. it can be set up BOTH ways with 4 in 4 out. that's how you set it up for single timecode use and 4 decks. unlike many others i read manuals and again i have used TC since TC came out with a laptop WAY before VDJ even thought of using it so i am VERY familiar with how to adjust settings and set it up. so i kind of concider my self somewhat of a TC expert concidering thats ALL i use and have used for 7 years.
if it was set up wrong why would i have a 100% TC signal and control with a TC signal of files? if it was set up wrong in 7 why would it do the same thing in 6.1.1 with the same results 100% TC signal and control?
but again for arguments sake and to rule it out i will set it up for 2 decks the way you suggest in your post and see if i get the same results and show the same 100% TC signal and control but then i ask you, after trying every possible thing suggested and EVERY possible setting change why do i STILL have the problems with latency settings lower than 30ms? did you scratch and cut like i did when you tested tc control? cause that's how i play and 30ms is not acceptable.
also your wrong about the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 because EACH channel uses TWO one for left one for right so CHANNEL 1 would 1 & 2 (left & right) CHANNEL 2 would be 3 & 4 (left & right) and so on.
can i see your screen shot with TC control? curious to see your settings.
