Topic: Help with Numark Mixtrack Pro..

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hi all. This is probably going to sound like a really stupid set of questions but here goes.

I am trying to get started using the Mixtrack Pro with Virtual DJ LE but have got a few problems (excuse my stupidity but I'm new to this).

First question is, should I be able to hear the music from both decks playing in my headphones at the same time? At present I can only hear the deck that is cued so I am unable to try to mix as it is just jumping from one deck to the other, this happens no matter where my crossfader is positioned.

Question 2 - Can I play the sound through the speakers connected to my pc or do I need to have speakers plugged into the back of the Mixtrack Pro? If I need speakers plugged into the back of the deck then will my pc speakers work with an RCA splitter of or do I need stereo speakers?

I hope this all makes sense, any help would be amazing thanks.

Set up is as follows.

Mixtrack Pro plugged into desktop pc via USB, desktop 2.1 Pc speakers with sub plugged into soundcard at back of PC. Headphones plugged into the Mixtrack Pro.

Ok so on the controller, there is a knob right above the "Browse" knob, labeled "Cue Mix." If you want to monitor both tracks at the same time, and not just your cued track, rotate the knob towards "PGM" and you will be able to hear both tracks at the same time.

I have an RCA to 1/8 inch jack (female) hooked to my Mixtrack Pro. I then run an aux cable to my stereo, and it works. So, if your computer speakers are external, take the main 1/8 inch jack, and plug it into a 1/8 inch to RCA converter. It works very nicely.

Hope this helps

hey i also have a Mixtrack Pro and don't quite know what i'm doing.
My Mixtrack Pro worked fine the first couple times i used it and i was able to scratch without any problems. However this morning i tried to scratch and instead of scratching the device just bent the pitch of the song i was playing. I've turned the scratch buttons on and off numerous time along with restarting my computer numerous times but i still cant seem to get the ability to scratch back. Is there a way i can get the scratch ability back, or do i have a defective unit?

Thanks,

Traver
