Topic: Please help ASAP...Gig tonight

So I am a Pro user and called the support number listed on the website. Have been waiting for someone to answer for over forty minutes. AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! I am having two problems...

First, the "for audio-only files use this plugin" is not working. It used to, but no more. Any ideas?

Second, I am having a hard time getting the split to work in the headphones. I have the audio output selected to headphones, but the split is not working. I am trying to make a video for the club gig i have tonight, but can't get it working.

Can someone please help?

about the second on the most laptops the soundcard is crap as hell (as mine) so the sound doesn' t have to different 'directions' (left-right).So spliting is not gonna work

ps. i own a hp laptop
 
yeah, but I've split before. Now with upgrade to 7.1 it's not working.
 
Look here. Next time do not wait til the last minute to get your gear working. If this does not work, go back to the version that did work.

What plug in are you talking about, or do you mean any plugin?
 
might be to late for you, but it sounds like you haven't activated the video check box at the top left on the video tab in config. then choose what you want to run for audio only files.
 
For live gigs, you should consider purchasing a proper dedicated DJ sound card with at least two stereo outputs, such as Numark DJIO.

The split option will only give you mono sound.
 
I think you may be using plugins from a previous version of VDJ not all if any will work on VDJ 7
Also I agree with others, never gig on a new setup that has not been tried tested and true!
