You Find your VDJ system crashing on you in the middle of a set using a Hercules console of any sort, like it did me Live on air? Be sure to have the latest driver! Click the link to get it, http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=17&fid=62&pid=215&cid=1

Understand once your Driver is outdated and you upgrade to the next VDJ, you will find your set crashing on you! After days of being clueless asking 1000's of questions and searching the net like a mad man to fix this situation, my driver is up to date!

So if this can save anyone from the freaking embarrassment I went through of my system crashing on me in the middle of my set, then I am happy to post this here for you!

HAPPY DJ-ING!

thanx a lot

i installed latest driver from rmx website and now i have mapper issues. My 1-6 assingnable buttons fire up my samples, even though i have nothing written in a mapper file other than to fire up cues. Basically mapper, that i wrote works on top of the default factory mapper... Bummer...
I've tried to rewrite midi functions for those buttons but no changes.
Any tips greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Nevermind...

Best I can tell you is copy down your mappers, because you may have to reset to factory settings. The RMX comes with many issues as we can see, so it is best to stay on top of all the updates and tips that can keep you from any headaches. I know many like this console and many don't but when working, it is one of the best things I've use in 25 years of dee-jaying!

Re-mapping is as easy as point and click.
Its probably the easiest problem to rectify when it comes to VDJ. Don't sweat the small stuff :)
