Topic: Recording Problem...........

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

When I record everything works fine, its the playback thats messed up. Im using either a Hercules RMX or MixMeister controller. What happens is when I'm playing the mix back theres dead spots. These can be seen in the scratch wave but when you look at the rythum the sound appears to be there, peep the pic,

Its really bugging me cause I cant even record now..................and no this doesnt happen when I'm using an exturnal mixer.

Any thoughts, or advice............

Hmmm.........no one??

did you try to burn your mix to a CD and see if theere any drops out there?

Hahaaa!! Funny you should ask............this morning I decided to put the mix on my Droid and listen to it at work. Well im about half way through the mix and there hasn't been any drop outs. Sooooooooooo im gonna assume that I have to close VDJ out then open back up and then preview?? What's weird is that I didn't try to preview it for a good hour after I was done. Iknow this because my daughter woke up and I had to feed and change her (3 month old).

Well this sucks cause I've scraped a couple of dope ass sets cause I thought there was dropouts!! Lmao!!!

Ill try again tonight just to be safe ;-)

P.S. This doesn't happen when using an external mixer and record loopback.

I have experienced some weird drops out too, when loading some tracks. It hapens randomly and i connot reproduce it. But if i reload the track again this drop out is no longer there.
Does your drop out is still there if you reload the recorded track?

I have also noticed that your recorded track is almost 25 min and the waveform is there, so i guess you have set VDJ to load large files (more than 15 min). Try to reduce this number. VDJ will still load the track but this time it will stream it, it will not load it in memory.
