ok i have searched and followed the steps in http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/139816/PC_Version_Technical_Support/Recording_with_an_Ex__Mixer________.html

but i dont have a line in option to even select that...i only get the line hercules rmx option. and it tells me soundcard not set up. so i put it on the microphone optio and it works fine but i still pick up a nasty hum that will not go away with any setings/gain/ volume changes. i am missing something and i have posted with no assistnce im posting here to see if someone with rmx or teamers can let me know what im missing. thanks in advance

Hey bro I saw your post sorry it took so long but anyways what's your mic volume set at?? You might have to turn that down. Other then that as far as I know your config looks good.

man i have turned the mic volume down to like 1 and that hum is persistant.

Hmm, have you tried going from the RMX to your mic in? Without using the external mixer? Im not at home right now but Ill check my settings again.

Huey

I noticed you have 4 timecodes also, what are you using 2 turntables and 2 cdj's??

yeah that and without record loop back works fine- but that option doesnt allow for the cue to be unrecorded

Hmmm that's weird cause it shouldn't record the cue with the way that's in your screen shots..........

Huey

i may have wrote it wrong...

the record back gives me the hum
if i dont select record back the hum is fine- but i hear my cue's

i have tried every setting i can think of and i get one or the other above actions
