I recently started using VDJ, the free home version, and was very impressed, but I found I could only use the headphones for 10 minutes with external mixer support. As the 10 minutes was almost finished the sound through the headphones started to distort just before cutting out completely...so I brought the pro version so I could use it properly only to find that the distorting is nothing to do with having the free version, it still distorts with the pro-version! Needless to say I am not impressed with that feature after paying £80!! And especially so as it seems like a software issue, ie; VDJ is faulty and should not be for £80. I have arrived at this conclusion because the sound coming through the headphones changes in phases, it will play just fine for a few minutes, then it will distort so badly that trying to mix with the headphones is virtually impossible, then 5 minutes later the distorting stops and it plays fine again for another 5 minutes...and so on. As the distorting comes and goes at pretty regular intervals and doesn't seem to be dependent on what I am doing with VDJ, my mixer or PC, I deem this to be an innate problem with VDJ, looking at the forums here tends to back-up my thinking as I am not the only person with this problem. Is VDJ just defective, or is this some obscure PC/hardware/software/soundcard issue? Does anybody know? When I purchased the pro version I checked the system requirements and my PC is up to it, therefore I am not happy that I have been sold a product under the premise of being able to use it correctly according to the companys own system requirements when it blatantly does not work properly with the recommended settings and hardware. Not happy. Any answers anyone?

I have the exact same problem.
I tried out the free version first and experienced this. Bought the Pro Basic and it does the same thing. Couldn't see a solution in the forum. Using laptop with Creative X-FI ( USB ) for master and on-board sound for headphones. Headphones also cut out totally after a couple of hours. Tried using X-FI as master and cheap usb sound card for headset with similar problems. Not using asio. Suggestions? Other than this - VDJ is amazing!
