I DJ on another Internet radio station as we sometimes have issues with handing over between DJ's. Sometimes there's no issue at all, but when it does go wrong it can be a real PITA!!!
It doesn't matter what player:- embedded flash RadioTuna), WMP, iTunes, MediaMonkey, etc. you either get the the last 20 secs of the previous stream continously buffered or it just takes forever for you to eb able to reconnect even though the Shoutcast server is reporting the stream is back up.
I am looking for some software that will mix/aggregate streams. The idea being is that this software will connect to Shoutcast and the DJ's will connect to the software as if they were connected to a DJ/studio mixer. This way the stream to Shoutcast would never be broken.
Does anyone know of such software?
