Indeed ..nice !

but i think its useless with iRemote since iPad is just a controller for VDJ.

yes but think of the posibilities there could be if we got the right people (atomix) to make a fully featured app, i know it will not happen any time soon but this could be the future, turn up to your residency, slot a couple of tablets in to the doc's and play your gig.

I wouldnt trust an iPad to handle the entire software, just because a DockStation gives all the connections you need. I would trust an iPAd just as a controler. Anyway, future is near !

What I would recommend is having the iPad as a an addition to a latop that you are using. I don't think I would trust something with the processing power like an ipad to run my show.

One of my friends is doing entire gigs from his ipad. I don't remember the name of the DJ app he is running but it's really really excellent. He plays house and can mix perfectly on it, and I mean perfectly. I had a go for 15 minutes and it was flawless.

Only downside is that the sound has to be split to 2 mono channels but in the places he works no-one notices anyway.

There's also the Djay app which I have used for a bar gigs and it has never let me down once.

The days of $300 software and the need for a PC are close to being over. When I look at what I can do with a £1500 laptop + Denon MC6000 he can do almost the same straight from his ipad.

Who knows what's round the corner, an ipad version of VDJ may be in the works just now, who knows?

I hear ya Keith but the key word in your statement was "House", come on, that's what people learn with. Show someone stuntin with some hip hop and ill take it seriously.......... I'm not knocking the guy but it is only house.
