When is all sayd and done..this is whats is all about...I got no problem showing what i can do,unlike some "Chicken Nuggets" around here...besides I know "chucknorrisyouwimps" (and others) got my back,right chuck? he,he....dont listen to people who hate and only try to use you to make them self look better.theres only one way to prove it you "nuggets" and thats LIVE in LIVING FREAKIN COLOR!! enough sayd! From New York via Kali representing!! I'm the MasterTracker...now back to the freakin skinnin & scripts ....LOL !!

now im no good at scratching but i am good at criticising, and a lot of that scratching sounded as bad as my feeble ass attempts. untill you got to about 7mins it just seemed like noise.

Thats whats wrong with Djing this days.all talk and no action.dudes that just drop on the 1 & 2.nobody trying to create something new,improvising and Freestyling.ever heard of that chicken nuggets? you know that by just answering to this thread with a negative attitude you have brought yourself and your insecurities out in the open....Lmfao...I'm bored with you types. But really? I've not seen any from you,trying to pass yourself as someone your not! ha,ha like I sayd,seen this all my Life,you work a @%# job so you can get all the latest toys but all of it do'nt save you's sad...My video? % years old,could'nt do it but in my storage 3 towns away,had one hour to do this (set up,grab the records I had not heard at all,and set up Video camara & recorder & do it.with a Mackie D2 mixer i bought in tha streets a few hours ago and had a bad crossfader.its situations like this that make you stronger,not more gear my little chicken nuggets...he,he

lol what, like limited licence means anything. as i said i dont scratch but that was diabolical.

anyway enough of laughing.. on a serious note some of your transforming was good but it was out of time with the beat track. you were trying to get too much done at once. im only touching the surface of scratching but it seems the best practice is to take it slow and keep to the beat.

scribbling away off beat as fast as your hand will mowe doesnt work, i know this because ive tried it. on more than one occasion. at the moment i keep it simple and keep to only a handfull of samples. i use the same few samples and modify to whatever the beat maybe.

in 2 or 3 month i should be able to bang out some decent scratches.

oh and ill put it on video tomorrow when i put my zip fly pants on. lol. just hope my zip is loud enough to scratch on. cant nad scratch with buttons :(

as for jobs....i could be a lawyer... or a doctor... h,mmmm maybe if i went to college........i wonder.....nahhhh... think ill stick with the construction lol.

Did plenty of construction,when i was just a Lead guitar player into Rock..lol..in Florida one contractor disapeared without paying me! was 17,weighted 99 pounds and they gave me a jack hammer and told me to get in the man hole and trim the sides.felt like the ringer in a bell..but anyways...had only a few hours to set them video shoots inside the storage space,then pack it up and get on the last bus out of there,then on a train back home midnite...allways streasing.thats why i got the Hercules Rmx,to be portable.but if you look closely you'll will see the whole freakin Dj kit rockin back and forth! had it on a X-stand made for Keyboards not DJ...ha,ha like i sayd the worst situations,like trying to scratch on a cardboard box (actually...done that too,notice some old picture of when i first bought my stanton str-80's,they're in yellow road cases,but i was just spending the weekend in San Francisco in a hotel so the kit was on top of the boxes the stantons came in on..but i happen to know "ShortKut" of the Scratch pickles (with dj Craze) & Beat junkies fame...and I'll tell you its not easy getting that good! besides the idea its not to think "in a couple of months" cause its only as good as the amount of time you're able to put into practicing...lol...so good Luck...BTW Luv to see some vids...yeap! and dont make it a phone video please (like some people I know,) use a good camara but record the audio in stereo seperately and addit to the video later in a editor,its the way to do it,unless you use a video recorder deck like i did back then (camara on stanby & AV outs into recorder video input,the audio Rca's L&R from your mixer to the vdeo Recorders audio inputs as well) recorded on DVD's.....

huh? (you should had seen his last place..he,he)...better lookin kid than daddy...but again thats me 5 years ago ,by myself (no kids help...lol ) and no cue points or Virtual Dj.when i get the kit out and finally set it up then we'll see...you know ...there is something call "Polyrithyms"? its part of my background in music,its LATIN Rithym and timbale solos its a good place to start (listen to Sheila E.) then you will be more than the average scratcher.thats where i'm aimin at....
 
decent camera may be a problem, the only one i have is the 0.3mp on my netbook.lol.

within a few months i should be able to scratch a few patterns quite well. i know i wont be a master by a very long shot if i can get really good at maybe 3-5 patterns ill be happy. im playing with my setup at the moment too trying to get it tweaked just right for my liking.

heres one for you, i was playing around one day with a fresh sound and my missus little bro come in and said what you doin??? so i said trying to scratch...he asks for a go so i say yes. the little sod had showed me right up... he seemed to just have a natural ability. itold him to keep trying and he was enjoying watching me suffer lol.

hes not been round in a while though as they live in a different city so dont come over much. i did offer to give him a pair of decks but his mum said no and his dad was just plain arrogant about the whole idea.

my aim is to just be able to scratch to a degree thats acceptable with a crowd. you know, for the occasional buzz.
 
What Fred no comments ..........lmfao!! Look Fred the point is were all mediocre dj's if we were all that great we wouldn't be wasting our time here or sitting in frickin coffee shops makin videos..........all im saying is, if your gonna post a video atleast take time with your mixes like you do editing them cause their really bad, look good, great tracks but thrown together quickly (probably cause your rushing cause the coffee shops gonna close) but it is what it is, not very good but could be...........

No gun fight, the foundation of our house is settling so after this snow melts gotta replace to walls there in the basement. Already did the garage.

@ huey. man my house is undergoing renevation too. ive kind of put it on hold for a little while. all last year all i did was work, come home, eat, work, shower. bed, work.etc etc..

i finished the 3 bedrooms, toilet , and most of the bathroom. the entire house has to be stripped back to the bare brick. new doors, windows and heating system have all been put in. got to start the kitchen, lounge and stairs yet. well once ive tiled the other half of the bathroom lol.

tracker, your here because the internet is new to you??? where do you live? the nevada desert in a trailer??
 
Oh..hi Chuck ! you're suppoed to put that good humor i luv in here somewhere,not get wierd as well.people i have to answer to some insanely sick artist in my "neck of the woods" and you should realize what needs be done..oh what the hell,the whole industry its going down the pits for quite some time...

No...not even the coffee is workin,I'm normally in bed right now and do'nt wake till 3pm.had to shit my schedule a whole freakin 12 hours (got up at 8 to head at at 9am? man this is for tha birds!! felt fine the first few hours but now... Spaced!! But no Drugs..sorry...no can do...Caffeine & nicotine its enough...humm Anyone een that new Gemini controller that wiill be here on march? nice!!
