Any suggestions on organizing my music on my new portable Hard drive with out using I-Tunes so I can get the best use with VDJ PRO?????

I use iTunes to organise... I make playlists and smart playlists in iTunes and use them in VDJ. Works like a charm.

So u keep all of ur music in Itunes?? does that not take up a lot of space on ur hard drive?? I am going 2 use a external 1TB drive when I get my mixtrack pro.

No my Music folder is on an external drive. Copy your music folder to the external drive, and make a link to that directory in you user folder.

Do you mind breaking down that process, step-by-step? I'm using iTunes as my organizer with the MyBook 1TB external hard drive, but I'm just not sure if it's working properly. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I just got a mac but most of my music is stored by broad Genre and sub genre folders. I use Media Monkey which is only available on PC and create Playlist that can be used on VDJ.
