Gang -

Adding SWF to the internal codec does allow for a basic intro of a flash movie.

Is there a codec we could install or am I forced to convert to AVI or something else?

Thanks!

I just use the internal video codec for swf and flv.

Well, I made a 60 image slideshow w/ random transitions via Flash Slideshow Pro. the resulting SWF only shows the first image - then that's it.

There is an option to burn to video CD so might try that and theen 'rip' the video from that.

Worst case, Media Player Classic will play and direct the output to 2nd display.

Daft question, you are using clipbank to run this file through VDJ? if so, uninstall adobe flash then re install from the adobe site, see if that helps.

But if your still having problems convert to mpg2 and it should run ok.

What would you recommend to convert it with?

Super makes playable files, but loses the transitions in the process.

Hello,

as far as i know you only can play .flv files directely with Virtual DJ because it's an kind of an video format.

There is way to play .swf files because they need flash to playback. Flash is a programming language to make applications to be played with a flash player or a special browser plugin for flash.

I've used Magic video converter for a long time now on different projects, it has multiple batch conversion and will also copy to and from different formats.

I find sometimes swf files will stutter after a while in clipbank but once converted to mpeg2 they run fine.

you can get it here http://www.magic-video-software.com/magic_video_converter/

If you like it, it will cost $19.95

Let us know how you get on
