I have used the pc version for years and went to mac. I have one ticket in for a vdj closed unexpectedly error, but I am trying to find out why when going through my volumes for instance in karaoke. i click through say the the c parent folder and it opens up to all the artists that start alphabetical order, after i click around, the next time i click a folder it turns blue but nothing comes up, but if i open my music volume it comes up with my folders?

ok this is what i can add. the karaoke file is on the mac drive. if i close vdj and restart, i can access the volume until the little mac version of the hour glass comes up and then it cant open anything in the mac drive until i reboot vdj, but i can access my ext hd which stores my music and my vids.

If your karaoke files are zipped, then this problem can occur on Mac if you have far too many ZIP files within the same folder.
Make sure that you do not have too many ZIP files in the same folder, or alternatively, do not ZIP the files (With today's large hard disks, this is not really necessary.)
Most KJ's will organise their karaoke into folders by disc number (E.g: Karaoke/Sunfly/SF123), so there should not be too many in any one folder (Only 15-20 per folder as per the original CDG discs.)
