hey guys im wondering about using a dual button mapping
so what i want to do is make it so i push a button so it turns my gain into and effect slider nob and when i release the button the nob turns back into the gain.
so the nob only is an effector nob while holding the button.

I could help you out with some script, but i would strongly advise NOT to do so.
If you assign to a knob those 2 actions, then by pressing the Shift button, and adjusting the fx slider with the knob, after the release of that Shift button, your controler probably will read the new position of yhe knob and will spoil your gain, and this is something that you wouldnt wanted.
