Topic: QSC GX3 Output Issue

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

As a few of you already know I just picked up a GX3. The issue I'm having is I am not getting output from channel 2 on the amp.

Here is a basic rundown of my wiring setup:

From VMS4
XLR outs - Right/Left
GX3 Input -Right(Channel 1) Left(Channel 2)
1/4 output from each channel to respective independent speakers.

The amp is on the full range mode.
I am not getting output from channel 2 regardless of what the input method

Here is the wiring diagram from QSC:

When you send a signal tot he questionable channel, does the signal light flicker on the amp? have you tried using the banana plug output for that given channel, has the amp ever 100% worked?

This is what the front interface is looking like

Hi mate.
you need to re-post the link to your picture.

first things first.

Swap the input Jacks 1 -2 and check. If the problem swaps then your issue is with the source not the amp.

If still no sound on CH2 but you have a signal indication on the front panel ch1 and ch2 input level indicators. Use one speaker only and try connecting to each channel output in turn.
If no output from either CH1 or CH2 then this indicates a fault with a speaker or speaker lead.
If no output from CH2 but CH1 ok then this indicates a fault within the amplifier.
If output from CH1 and CH2 this indicates that you have a fault in the speaker or speaker lead that you are NOT using to test with.

Hope this helps
