Hi everyone, I just got VDJ 7 and am trying to use with DAC2 controller. When I bought it they said it works with a number of different controllers and the mappers are built in with version 7.
The DAC2 show up in Windows Control panel under Devices. but when I use VDJ and scan for devices it does not come up.
Desperately seeking some help with this. Thanks!
btw, using Windows XP SP2

The DAC-2 is an old legacy serial device.
You will need to go to CONFIG -> Mappers, click on the button to the right of the drop-down list and tick the option to use serial devices.
Then click on the button to rescan for connected devices.
NOTE: MIDI controllers such as the DAC-2 can only be used for 10 minutes at a time in VirtualDJ Home FREE as a trial of Pro. To be able to use it for more than 10 minutes, you will need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html Home FREE supports mouse and keyboard only.
Home FREE is also for non-commercial (Unpaid) use only. It cannot be used at DJ gigs where you are being paid.
