I can get 2 ttx usb's for $350 shipped. My plan has been to get a TCV set up and begin dj'ing that way. I really like the feel of a rotating platter and vinyll, but i dont have a vinyl collection (all my music is on my comp and cd's ive burned recently) i missed out on a pair of cdx's that sold for under $400, but i digress. Anyways doubt has set in once more and i want to kno what you guys think would be better for me to do- go with the TCV route as ive planned or save more and go for cd decks. Im mostly into house, electronica, dubstep, etc.. but i really would love to learn to scratch the hip hop i have (along with reggaeton that i love =]). Also i have not really decided what type of mixer i want... ive noticed that everybody keeps saying pioneer is the ONLY way to go if i want to play it smart but with so many options out there i doubt there arent other mixers that can do the job just as good. In no way do i mean disrespect to any pio equipment is just that it is what the pros are using.. well they are pros (just my humble noob opinion). anyways thanks in advance!

I wouldn't really go with the USB tables. There really made for just ripping your record collection. Id suggest picking up some Numark TT-200's or the Stanton ST-8's. As for a mixer atleast 3 channels so you can hook up a backup (CDJ, IPOD, etc.etc....) or you can run a 3rd deck or samples on that channel.
Hope that helps
