hi, just wondered if anyone else takes these?
how do you do yours?

autoplay for me two tunes gives me enough time to escape lol

i always get collared on the way out and in for tune requests and/or random convo, have to tear myself away from groupies n sh*t lol

I don't smoke but I do go out into the crowd when I can.

I practice experimental mixing / mashups etc during the week and record what I do if it sounds good, usually for a good 15 minutes or so... Can play that... More recently been taking my iPad out into the crowd and mixing in amongst the people (which goes down well might I add).

I would say making a few mixes up for the night is a safe option, but using a remote tool like iRemote or something, makes the breaks so much more fun.

Same as Si...I use iRemote and wireless headphones...either that or drop a huge remix in - Hey Hey (Paradise Garage Remix) is always a favourite as it's 12 mins long!...
 
I use my iphone (if there is wi fi) and official app from virtual dj
 
I put it in automix for 2-3 songs used iremote on my iPhone but the iphone is not working any more and iPad is to large to walk around with on a crowed floor. But I usualy don't smoke during the last 3 hours when most people are at the clubs

yeah i keep forgetting that y'all keep people in office that decide whats good for you or not. and even worse take away your choice in the matter.
smoke breaks? don't need em - six ashtrays in booth. no waiting.

its illegal in the uk to smoke in any workplace. its at home or outdoors only.
 
I quit smoking 2 months ago, but when I did smoke I'd go out for one earlier in the night because when the club picked up I wanted to be in control of the mix and change direction at the drop of a hat if the crowd was right. It's very hard to stay in the groove if you need to go outside to smoke in the middle of your set.

I always "rewarded" myself with a cig after my set for a job well done. lol. That's sounds so silly now.

even in the states there's places that have banned smoking in clubs/restaurants/bars, and even in public in some - but right here where we are we can still smoke 'em if we can afford 'em.

 
Yeah here where I live they've banned smoking in any public space, hell even a privately run business that caters to the public there's a smoking ban. I don't smoke but I think it's BS. Just another right the government has taken away. That's another topic for another time. I usually work with a partner so we tag team on/off the tables.

Illinois is one of those places. Banned in all public bars/clubs/restaurants......

In india you can smoke inside the toilet or go out of the club to smoke but not where the crowd is.
 
As of yesterday Niagara Falls, Canada has passed a new bylaw banning smoking in all Public Parks (including Whirlpool Golf Course which is owned by the city), Buildings, (inside & out), arenas & bus shelters or face a $100 fine.

I don't smoke cigarettes, but partake in the odd cigar or my pipe while I golf.
 
Break? WTF is a Break? You guys are a bunch of wussies. I don't even go to the bathroom when I'm mixing, I just pee on myself. It is very warm ,and will dry in a few hours.

I gave up cigerettes years ago, and only smoke crack now. I need to be paranoid.

Truth be told I only smoke after sex...I haven't had a cigarette in four years...
